This Policy explains how Caldik plan allowances, metered overages, Unlimited features, deployment history, and retention rules work.
1. Scope#
This Pricing Policy applies to Caldik subscriptions and usage-based charges. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read with the plan details shown on the Pricing page, the Refund Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
The price and plan terms displayed when you subscribe or change plans are the terms that apply to that purchase. A separate subscription is required for each additional storefront unless an order form states otherwise.
2. Included plan allowances#
Each plan includes the storage, build minutes, API capacity, team access, and other allowances shown on the Pricing page. Usage is measured for the storefront or subscription to which the allowance belongs. Allowances generally do not pool across separate subscriptions unless the dashboard or an order form expressly says they do.
Store storage covers files and data kept for the storefront, including uploaded media, digital product files, storefront source code, generated site files, backups counted toward the plan, and other stored resources identified in the dashboard. Build-minute usage is measured while Caldik runs a storefront build.
A displayed allowance may be subject to technical unit definitions, rounding, and measurement intervals. Storage may be measured using decimal or binary units as identified in the dashboard. Build time may be rounded to the nearest billing increment shown with usage information.
3. Unlimited features#
“Unlimited” means that a feature does not have a fixed published quantity for normal use. It does not permit unlawful, abusive, automated, wasteful, or disruptive use of the Services.
Unlimited features remain subject to this Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, technical safeguards, available system capacity, and measures reasonably required to protect the platform and other customers. Unlimited does not mean infinite computing resources, guaranteed throughput, permanent retention, or exemption from documented rate and file-size limits.
We may contact you about unusual usage and may request an explanation, recommend a different architecture or plan, require reasonable remediation, or limit activity that threatens the security, availability, cost sustainability, or integrity of the Services. We will not use fair-use controls merely to impose an unpublished ordinary-use quantity cap.
4. Metered overages#
Usage above an included allowance may be billed at the following rates:
| Resource | Overage rate |
|---|---|
| Store storage | $0.025 per additional GB per month |
| Cloud build minutes | $0.01 per additional build minute |
An overage applies only after the relevant included allowance has been used. Applicable usage charges appear with your subscription billing information. Overage usage may continue until the resource is reduced, the billing period ends, a configured budget control takes effect, or Caldik applies a protective limit.
Usage alerts, estimates, and dashboard totals may be delayed and are provided to help manage consumption. They do not replace your responsibility to monitor resource use. If Caldik offers a hard spending cap or automatic stop control, its specific behaviour will be described in the dashboard.
5. Storage measurement and deletion#
Storage usage can increase through uploads, source files, generated builds, deployments, backups, logs, digital products, and other retained material. Deleting a visible item may not reduce measured usage immediately while related versions, trash, caches, or backups remain within their normal retention cycle.
If an account exceeds its allowance, Caldik may charge overages, prevent new uploads or builds, request deletion, place the account into a restricted state, or require a plan change. We will take reasonable steps to avoid deleting active customer data solely because of an overage without notice, except where immediate action is required for security, law, or platform stability.
6. Build-minute measurement#
Build minutes are measured from the time a Caldik build worker begins billable build execution until the build finishes, fails, is cancelled, or reaches its limit. Queue time ordinarily does not count unless the Pricing page says otherwise. A failed or cancelled build may still consume build minutes because compute resources were used.
Builds triggered by the merchant, its team, API, integration, webhook, or configured automation count toward the relevant allowance. Caldik may credit minutes consumed solely because of a confirmed Caldik platform error, but ordinary code errors, dependency failures, invalid configuration, or third-party outages do not automatically qualify.
7. Deployment history and retention#
An Unlimited deployment history does not have a fixed deployment-count limit. Older deployments may be deleted after a period of time when applicable operational, security, or retention requirements are met.
Deployment history is not a substitute for maintaining your own source-code repository or backups. Source backup and restore features follow the retention period included with your plan. Preview environments, build artefacts, logs, temporary files, caches, and cancelled builds may have shorter retention periods than published production deployments.
If a plan is downgraded, cancelled, suspended, or unpaid, retention may change to the rules for the new account state. You should export required source and data before a change takes effect.
8. API, team, and feature allowances#
API limits may include request rate, concurrency, key count, webhook count, event retention, or other controls shown on the Pricing page or in documentation. Temporary security and stability limits may apply independently of a commercial plan allowance.
Team allowances count invited or active seats as described in the dashboard. Removing a member may not immediately remove that person from audit history or records that must be retained. Features marked as included remain subject to their documented configuration and eligibility requirements.
9. Plan changes#
Upgrades, downgrades, credits, trials, and billing adjustments are handled as shown before you confirm the change and as described in our Refund Policy. Current plan prices and allowances are published on the Pricing page.
An upgrade may reset or increase allowances immediately, while a downgrade may take effect at renewal. Usage already incurred remains billable. If a downgrade would place stored resources above the new allowance, overages or restrictions may apply until usage is reduced.
10. Taxes, currency, and payment costs#
Displayed prices may exclude GST, VAT, sales tax, withholding, duties, currency conversion, blockchain network fees, bank fees, or payment-provider charges unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated using the account, billing, transaction, and location information available to us or our payment provider.
11. Pricing and allowance changes#
We may change future plan prices, allowances, and overage rates. For an existing recurring subscription, material pricing changes will normally take effect at a future renewal after reasonable notice, unless a shorter period is required by law, tax, a provider, or an urgent correction.
Promotional or legacy pricing may have separate eligibility, duration, and migration terms. A promotional price does not guarantee that the same price or allowance will remain available after the promotion or a plan change.
12. Usage disputes#
If you believe usage was measured incorrectly, contact support@caldik.com with the storefront, resource, date range, and reason. We may review metering records, build logs, storage indexes, API logs, and related technical evidence. Confirmed material errors will be corrected through adjusted usage, a credit, or a refund where appropriate.
13. Changes to this Policy#
We may update this Policy as plans, allowances, measurement methods, or usage rates change. The version shown when usage occurs will normally apply to that usage unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Contact#
Questions about plan allowances or usage charges can be submitted through the support option in your Caldik account or through support@caldik.com.
